'A Birthday in B'
As the few of you that frequent this blog know Vally P aka 'the wicked mother-in-law' celebrated her birthday last week. Apart from heartfelt congrats, pressies and food we spent some time playing music. The Hagish burb known as Nieuw Waldeck was ever so lucky to be graced with four such talented musicians playing the exquisite piece 'a birthday in B(urbia)'.
Anyway, here are some pics of this already historical concert:

Came, saw and enjoyed your blog. I visit your mums' now and then and so I was interested to see who the links were about. Especially I like the photos of the band. Very nice. Is Baz english or dutch?
Ed

Help!
Forgot the name of our band! wat it 'Short Term', or 'Memories', 'The Iconoclasts'? Hm, not like us. Definitely not 'The Ice Picks' (aka The Melting Plectrums) for that is a rock band like Snow Patrol and Cold Play.
Already legendary, I could not have said it better. Barry, you can't be my ideal son-in-law, but as a stepson-in-unlaw you can't be beat!
PS
A twelve string story is coming up, but the Emmylou / Mark story got priority
Mum: Saw the post... I have a sneaky feeling he's the little boy moose and I used to roll down the hill with at the cottage... small world indeed!!
Love the new bit of story too!!
Koos: We're 'Sacrilige!' :)
Looking forward to the 12 string tale
I do hope he makes contact back with you Jo. Wouldn't that just be amazing if it were him. I'm still so knocked out by the fact that he came across by blog so soon after I starte posting my memories!
Of course I know you remember, pet, and probably things that I don't, but your memories will be different from mine - from the eyes of a child, as indeed his were! to think that Gwen was his granny!! And his Mum was the one you told that I locked you in the cupboard and that I said she was a pain! You were such a little tyke! I never lived that down!!
Oops sorry about the spelling and errors!
Will have Part 3 of Chapter 2 up later!
Love you pet
