The Hague

I had enough reasons to go out into the city today. Good weather, the need for a new DVD and our brand new polorisation filter for our camera. Some of the pics aren't what I expected them to be yet, but lets just say practise makes perfect.

Lovely indeed, Baz. It even makes DH look like a beautiful city...:-) joke!

The sunshine has given some lovely light the last few days, and your pics reflect that.

Well done.

Well I think its great!
I haven't seen much of the Hague, only the train station and the ice rink. Your little part seems almost regal... Sir Barry of Hague!

Thanks for the comments peeps. Baz is currently recovering from a run in with Belgium beer and so is unable to form any coherent sentences but would like to thank you all for your compliments on his photographic abilities... he tried typing this himself but it came out as "arf arf... goooglybook
..hmm. zap!!"... quite disturbing really as he has possibly offended any number of alien communities across the galaxy!

Hi Barry & Jodie

I'm quite impressed with that Burbanite blog.
First of all bloggers using only their own material, writing and illustration, are few and far between.

And then it does not hurt to see things about Den Haag that put that village (it never received city rights, remember) in a favourable light. Most people's disdain about The Hague is just a form of gentle teasing anyway.

It makes me really happy to see u2 are so busy exploring photography, you bet it will go far. I am looking forward for what what comes after this!

Keep'm coming, we'll be watching.

Love
Koos

Thanks for the complimentos kiddos. I blushed considerably. It was very kind indeed, but you and I both know, my dear sweet Jo, that you had a very talented photographer father, and Mo has a very artistic patriarchal parent as well..

I'm most grateful for the acknowledgement, though. You are also my very special daughter, as you know. Momo just happened to post a comment while I was busy doing it too!

Love you lots, and thanks to Baz tooo! xx
Nice to see Renate on the blogging channel!

Hahaha... you'll have to look at the boring pics just a bit longer, I'm afraid, as tomorrow we are off on our weekend away... but I'm sure a full coloured photo report will be following that so watch this space!

Hi Jo
Part 1 of chapter 5 is up. Am separating, because I think it will be too long for most folks if I publish it all at once!
